Mock EAMCET Exam on April 24 by SFI

HYDERABAD: Students Federation of India (SFI) is conducting mock EAMCET on April 24 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in 300 centres across the State.
Chukka Ramaiah, MLC, will advise the organisers in paper setting and organising the event as he had been doing for the last 10 years.
Mr. Ramaiah said the test will help students find their deficiencies and understand their shortcomings before they take the EAMCET on May 8.
SFI State president Chandra Mohan said the fee for the test is Rs. 40 and students can enrol in their colleges or in any SFI office in the city or town.
Gold medals
Toppers of both engineering and medical streams of the mock test will be given gold medals worth Rs. 45,000. Those figuring in the top 10 will get dictionaries and shields worth Rs. 2,000 each. He said last year 60,000 students took the mock test conducted by SFI.

New telephone number for EAMCET - 2011

VISAKHAPATNAM: The new telephone number of EAMCET-2011 Regional Coordinator's Office here is 2844182, Regional Coordinator M.M.M. Sircar informed on Monday. Students, their parents and members of public can contact the Regional Coordinator's office (located in the Andhra University College of Engineering premises) for inquiries by calling this number. People outside Visakhapatnam have to prefix the number with STD code 0891.
The office will remain open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to receive EAMCET applications, even on Sundays and public holidays, Prof. Sircar informed. Last date for submitting the filled in application forms is March 16.
